Senior Veterinary Surgeon

David graduated from Cambridge University and has lived and worked locally, providing high-quality veterinary care to the pets of North Lincolnshire since 2009.  He has a particular interest in surgery and is currently studying for the British Small Animal Veterinary Association certificate in Surgery with the ultimate aim of being recognised as an advanced practitioner in Surgery.

He is experienced and competent at treating a wide range of medical conditions and routine, non-routine and emergency surgeries. His other interests include dermatology, oncology (cancer treatment)  and ultrasound examination.

David and his partner Amy live within walking distance from the practice with Frapple the whippet and cat Gherkin, both of whom were rescued from unfortunate situations. Frapple can often be seen at the surgery or sprinting around the parks of Scunthorpe.

Razvan graduated from the University Spiru Haret in 2018 and soon after made the move to London to kickstart his veterinary career. With a passion for all aspects of veterinary medicine, Razvan has a particular interest in small animal emergency and critical care, as well as soft tissue surgery.

Growing up, Razvan spent much of his time riding horses and competing in showjumping as a junior and young rider. These days, when he’s not in the clinic, you’ll likely find him swimming, cycling in nature, or reading up on the latest in veterinary medicine. He’s also an avid traveler and loves hiking with his family—and their adorable miniature dachshund, Rupert!

Mehmet graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. Since then, he has gained diverse experience working across several fields, including stray animal care, small animal practice, and wildlife medicine.

With a growing passion for veterinary surgery, Mehmet continues to develop his expertise and strives to make a meaningful difference in every animal’s life.
Outside of his professional work, he enjoys trekking, cycling, and cultivating bonsai trees, finding inspiration and balance in nature.

Tara- MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon

Tara graduated as a veterinarian from the University of Zagreb and began her career in Ireland before moving to the UK to pursue advanced training. She completed internships at Fitzpatrick Referrals, focusing on surgery, and at Eastcott Referrals, where she further developed her clinical skills and deepened her passion for providing the very best care to her patients.

Her broad experience and commitment to excellence make her a wonderful addition to our clinical team.

Outside of work, Tara loves exploring the outdoors—whether it’s hiking new trails or enjoying long walks with friends (and dogs, whenever possible!) . She’s also a big fan of good coffee, travel, and discovering new places to eat.

Iman- MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon

Iman is a South African veterinary surgeon who earned his qualification and completed a clinical internship at the Onderstepoort Veterinary Academic Hospital, University of Pretoria. During his Community Service year in Durban, he worked in animal welfare, positively impacting the lives of thousands of pets and their owners in vulnerable communities.

While comfortably treating a range of species from cats to lions, horses or hedgehogs, Iman strives to deliver gold standard practice to all patients who come under his care.

If he’s not working at Old Registry Vets, you will most likely find him training for his next ultramarathon, travelling the world or watching Survivor.

Amy
Head Registered Veterinary Nurse
Amy

Amy has been with Old Registry since the very beginning and now leads our team as Head Nurse. She also serves as our Cat Advocate, helping us maintain our ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic standards and ensuring a calm, stress-free environment for our feline patients.

With a strong interest in wound management and surgical nursing, Amy also holds a certificate in emergency and critical care, highlighting her dedication to excellent veterinary care.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her young son, and loves getting creative with arts and crafts.

Hayley
Registered Veterinary Nurse

Hayley joined the old registry family in early 2019 partway through her nursing studies after having an excellent start at a local practice, qualifying in August 2019.

Pictured here with her beloved pooch Marley (also known as Moo) She traded a job in hospitality for a raincoat and wellies, working in boarding kennels whilst volunteering for a local animal charity before starting out in veterinary as a kennel maid 3 years ago. She is enjoying her new role as a qualified veterinary nurse and being a part of the Old Registry team.

Leanne

Leanne joined the Old Registry team in January and has quickly become a valued member of our practice. After many years working in the equine industry, she followed her passion for animal care and qualified as a small animal veterinary nurse in 2024.

She particularly enjoys client consultations and loves getting to know the pets and people who visit us. Her calm, friendly manner helps put both owners and animals at ease.

Outside of work, Leanne enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She’s a keen horse rider and adores her horse, Frankie – often found hacking through the countryside with her daughter or out walking with her family.

Kirsty
Student Veterinary Nurse

Kirsty has always dreamed of becoming a Veterinary Nurse. After years working as a hairdresser, she made the leap into veterinary care seven years ago—with the support of her family—and is now well on her way to qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse.

Outside of studying, Kirsty loves spending time with her family and friends. She shares a close bond with her work family too, always supporting one another through the highs and lows of practice life.

Ryan
Hospital Manager
Ryan

Ryan is our Practice Administrator at Old Registry Vets. He originally qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2017 and joined our team in early 2020 as a nurse.

Now, Ryan keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes, managing health and safety, insurance claims, and all the essential paperwork. Known for his exceptional organisational skills, he also continues to assist with clinical duties and reception when needed—a true all-rounder.

Outside of work, Ryan enjoys catching up with friends, drinking plenty of coffee, and playing video games.

Ellie
Veterinary Receptionist

Ellie has been part of the Old Registry team since 2022 and is one of our friendly, approachable receptionists. She’s passionate about creating a welcoming environment for our clients and is always happy to go the extra mile to ensure everyone feels supported and well looked after.

Outside of work, Ellie enjoys long walks in the countryside, often hiking through the Peaks with her beloved dog, Barney, and friends. She’s also a fan of a cosy local pub and a well-earned glass of pinot after a day outdoors. Family time and the occasional holiday help her recharge and keep her smiling.

Ava
Veterinary Receptionist

Ava has been a key part of our reception team since 2022, warmly welcoming clients and their pets every day. She loves building relationships with our clients and seeing their pets grow over time.

Ava shares her home with her Rottweiler, Rocco, and rescue cat, Madonna. When not at work, she enjoys hiking, running, and spending time with family and friends—often taking Rocco along on her adventures.

Jodie
Veterinary Receptionist

Jodie has always had a deep love for animals, which led her to pursue a degree in Animal Welfare Science, recently graduating from university. Now joining our team, where her passion for animal care shines through everyday. Whilst she loves greeting and comforting all of your gorgeous pets who come through the doors, Jodie’s long term goal is to progress into veterinary nursing and take a more hands-on role in animal health.

At home, Jodie is kept busy by her own four furry companions , who are never short of attention or affection. In her free time, she enjoys scenic dog walks, getting lost in a good book, or watching football.

Karen
Kennel Assistant

Karen shares her home with her dog’s: Phoebe, Monica, Diva, Lucy, Riley, Reiko and Flin, along with her 2 cats: Winnie and Wilf. She likes to Rescue and Re-home animals where possible. She enjoy’s life best when she is around animals.

Nursing Assistant

Lou has been part of the Old Registry Vets team for just under four years, working as a dedicated Nursing Assistant. Her role allows her to provide care, comfort, and plenty of cuddles to the pets who come in for treatments and procedures, helping them feel safe and reassured during their visits.

Passionate about animal care, Lou hopes to progress her career by starting her training as a student veterinary nurse soon, with the goal of becoming a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) in the future.

Outside of work, Lou enjoys spending time with her wife and their four-legged family at home. She loves to cook, unwind by building Lego creations, and can often be found at festivals, gigs, or the theatre. When she’s not out and about, she enjoys relaxing and camping with her family.
